Circular Boulder

The city of Boulder, aims to achieve an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and become a zero-waste community by 2025. To support this, Metabolic conducted a comprehensive material flow analysis and held stakeholder workshops to develop a long-term roadmap. This roadmap, comprising 29 actionable steps, focuses on reducing material consumption, engaging the community, and fostering circular entrepreneurship. The Circular Boulder initiative marks a significant step towards a zero-waste and climate-neutral city.
